TED M. PHILLIPS (1932-2004) was the second-generation editor of the Seminole Producer and spoke out boldly on a number of controversial and difficult problems. He was a strong supporter both of Seminole and the state as well as his profession. Phillips, an Army veteran, was a Mason, a 38-year member of Kiwanis and an elder in the Presbyterian Church. A strong supporter of education, he was chairman of the Seminole Junior College Board of Regents two terms. He was also president and treasurer of the Oklahoma Press Association.
